THE ORPHANS

How do We Find Female Orphans?

In all the countries we are planning to operate in, poverty and conflict have led to many orphans. This has created many regulated, government-backed, and NGO institutions that house orphans of all ages and background. We will work with the most respected and credible organisations to develop a sensitive, effective process and procedure to pick the orphans who will most benefit from our programme.

This process and procedure will be developed in consultation with professionals who have a high degree of experience in this field. But we will use UN and Save the Children guidelines as a minimum.  We will always be working with the best NGOs to ensure our standards remain unrivalled.

Housing of Orphans

Our key responsibility is to house and look after the orphans, setting a high standard for their welfare and care. We will have safe and secure quality homes with professional partners in cities and provide a real family home environment for them. Full-time care-qualified female live-in wardens and security will be employed. The pastoral care and the life skills development programmes will operate within the homes.

The homes will be run according to international vulnerable young people guidelines where every aspect of care has policies and procedures to protect and provide relevant welfare for the young girls. The houses will be of a high standard and have all the amenities one would expect for our own sisters and daughters.
